As part of an increasing push to make a difference to the world’s climate; BBS are making changes to its working practices and have started to implement its plan for carbon neutrality.
The average person in the UK is responsible for a minimum of 5.5 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year. Capturing and storing carbon from the atmosphere is vital in the fight against climate change.
BBS have linked up with a large UK body in providing financial support to allow trees to be planted, and conservation work to be carried out to begin to offset our UK staffs carbon footprint.
Our initial work has meant that 25% of our UK staff are now as close to carbon neutrality as possible, with the remaining staff aiming to become carbon neutral during 2021.
