Encouraging Mental Health Awareness and Workplace Wellbeing
Published 6th November 2023Katie Spence from our Logistics team has linked up with Bridgewater and Taunton College to build on her existing knowledge and make a real difference to people’s lives.
Our dedicated and community minded team have been working with charities and projects in their local communities throughout the year, and it’s time we told you all about what has been happening.
We will be posting the team’s stories and successes in the coming weeks, and we are very proud to start with a story from Katie Spence from our Logistics team.
Katie has always had and continues to have a strong need to help and care. Katie has previously worked in the NHS and has taken steps to start another amazing venture to help others.
Prompted by extreme personal tragedy, Katie has taken the opportunity to become trained in mental health and workplace wellbeing, gaining a Level 2 certificate in Understanding. Katie has linked up with Bridgewater and Taunton College to build on her existing knowledge and make a real difference to people’s lives. Katie has her own tutor for her learning, and we are looking forward to Katie adding to her success in completing the first phase of the accreditation, and continuing on to complete the course to make a difference to many lives and enable BBS to become more aware of the issues around Mental health through her knowledge.
