BBS Brick and Stone Ltd rides to the aid of Hannington-based charity Venture RDA

Venture RDA is a Northamptonshire-based charity run solely by volunteers, who aim to allow new and life-changing experiences for young people whilst supporting their families to build life long connections through horse-riding experiences. They offer support for physical, emotional, social and communication skills for their riders.

The charity allows children with disabilities to experience something new and build a new love – all with smiles, laughter and fun.

Some of the supported children require new ways of recovering from operations, or coping with the anxiety of riding a real horse. Venture RDA also need to be able to offer the riding time in all weathers and conditions.

With this in mind, Venture RDA has started to fundraise to purchase a fully mechanical horse which will be available to all riders within the group and will ensure that they can cater for all disabilities and needs. At BBS, we are thrilled to be involved with this wonderful initiative and our donation will go some way towards completing this fundraising effort.
